REFUND POLICY

This Refund Policy explains when Escape Life Inc, operator of LazyFans™ ("Platform"), will and will not issue refunds for purchases made on the Platform. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

1. General Principle

Due to the digital and immediately accessible nature of content on the Platform, all purchases are generally non-refundable once the content has been accessed or the subscription period has commenced. This is standard practice for digital content platforms and is consistent with applicable consumer protection laws for digital goods.

However, we are committed to treating our users fairly, and we will consider refund requests in the circumstances described below.

2. Eligible Refund Circumstances

Refunds may be approved in the following circumstances:

2.1 Duplicate Charges

If you have been charged more than once for the same transaction due to a technical error, we will refund the duplicate charge in full. Please contact us with the transaction details and we will investigate promptly.

2.2 Technical Failure

If a technical failure on our side prevented you from accessing content you paid for, and we are unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable time, you may be eligible for a full or partial refund depending on the extent of the access failure.

2.3 Unauthorised Transaction

If you believe a charge was made to your payment method without your authorisation, please contact us immediately. We will investigate and, where confirmed as unauthorised, issue a full refund. We may require supporting information to process the claim.

2.4 Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection law. Where law requires us to provide a refund (for example, under the EU Consumer Rights Directive or applicable US state law), we will do so.

3. Non-Refundable Purchases

The following purchases are not eligible for refunds:

  • Subscription fees where the subscription period has commenced and content has been accessed
  • Tips or gratuities sent to Content Creators (these are voluntary payments and are non-refundable once sent)
  • Pay-per-view (PPV) content that has been unlocked and viewed
  • Purchases where you changed your mind after accessing the content
  • Partial refunds for unused portions of a subscription period
  • Purchases made in violation of these Terms or our Community Guidelines

4. How to Request a Refund

All refund requests must be submitted in writing within seven (7) days of the date of the charge.

To submit a refund request:

  1. Email support@lazyfans.com with the subject line "Refund Request"
  2. Include your account username or registered email address
  3. Include the transaction date, amount, and a description of the reason for your request
  4. Include any supporting evidence (e.g., screenshots of duplicate charges, error messages)

Requests submitted after the 7-day window will generally not be considered, except where required by applicable law or in exceptional circumstances at our discretion.

5. Refund Processing

Once we receive your refund request, we will:

  • Acknowledge receipt within two (2) business days
  • Review your request and respond with a decision within five (5) business days
  • If approved, process the refund to your original payment method within five (5) to ten (10) business days, depending on your bank or card provider

Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. We are not able to issue refunds to a different payment method or as platform credits unless otherwise agreed.

6. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or card provider without first contacting us, we reserve the right to:

  • Suspend or terminate your account pending investigation
  • Dispute the chargeback with our payment processor if we believe it to be made in bad faith

We encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback — in most cases, we can resolve legitimate billing issues faster than the formal chargeback process.

7. Creator Earnings

This policy applies to charges made by users (Fans) on the Platform. Separate terms apply to Creator earnings, payouts, and any disputes relating to Creator compensation. Please refer to the Creator Terms or contact us for details.
