Privacy & Policy
Last updated: 26 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information LazyFans™ collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it. LazyFans is operated by Escape Life Inc, 2248 Meridian Blvd Suite H, Minden, NV 89423, United States ("we", "us", "our"). Escape Life Inc is the data controller for the personal information described here.
This policy applies to lazyfans.com and to every service we provide through it. By using the site you agree to the handling of your information as described below. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. Who This Policy Covers
We use "you" to mean anyone whose information we hold, which falls into three groups:
- Visitors — people who browse the site without an account
- Fans — registered users who subscribe to, purchase from, or message creators
- Creators — verified content creators who publish content and receive payouts
Creators give us more information than fans, because identity and age verification and tax and payout reporting require it. Where a section applies to only one group, it says so.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you give us
- Account details — username, email address, password (stored only as a salted hash), date of birth, and country
- Profile content — display name, biography, avatar and cover images, and any other content you choose to publish
- Creator verification (creators only) — legal name, residential address, a government-issued photo ID, a facial photograph or selfie video, and your signed Content Creator Agreement. This includes biometric information derived from your photograph for the sole purpose of confirming it matches your ID.
- Payout details (creators only) — bank account or payout account details, a supporting banking document, and tax identification information where required by law
- Communications — messages you send to other users, and anything you send to our support, complaints or appeals addresses
2.2 Information we collect automatically
- Device and connection data — IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, and language settings
- Usage data — pages viewed, content viewed or purchased, search terms, referring pages, and timestamps
- Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 7
2.3 Information we receive from others
- Payment processors — confirmation that a payment succeeded or failed, the card brand and last four digits, and any chargeback or dispute notices. We never receive or store your full card number, expiry date, or security code.
- Identity verification providers — the result of a creator's identity and age check
- Social sign-in providers — if you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture
3. Payment Card Information
Card details are entered on our payment processor's own secure, hosted payment form and are transmitted directly to them. They are never entered on, transmitted through, or stored on our systems. We hold only a token that lets us request a charge, along with the card brand and last four digits so you can recognise which card you used.
4. Why We Use Your Information
| Purpose | Examples |
| Providing the service | Creating your account, showing you content, delivering purchases, running messaging |
| Age and identity verification | Confirming every user is 18 or over, and confirming a creator is who they say they are |
| Payments and payouts | Taking payment, paying creators, handling refunds, chargebacks and disputes |
| Safety and content moderation | Pre-publication review, investigating reports, detecting fraud and abuse, enforcing our Standards |
| Legal compliance | Record-keeping under 18 U.S.C. § 2257, tax reporting, responding to lawful requests |
| Communications | Transactional email, security alerts, and (with your consent) marketing |
| Improving the service | Understanding which features are used, diagnosing faults, measuring performance |
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.
5. Legal Bases (where GDPR or UK GDPR applies)
- Contract — to provide the service you signed up for, take payment, and pay creators
- Legal obligation — age verification, 2257 record-keeping, tax reporting, and responding to law enforcement
- Legitimate interests — keeping the platform safe, preventing fraud, and improving the service, balanced against your rights
- Consent — marketing email, non-essential cookies, and the processing of biometric data used in identity verification. You may withdraw consent at any time.
6. Who We Share Information With
- Payment processors and acquiring banks — to take payment and pay creators
- Identity verification providers — to confirm creator identity and age
- Hosting, storage and content delivery providers — to run and serve the platform
- Email and communications providers — to send transactional and support email
- Professional advisers — lawyers, accountants and auditors, where necessary
- Law enforcement and regulators — where required by law, or where we suspect content involves a minor, human trafficking, or other criminal conduct. Suspected human trafficking is always reported to the proper authorities.
- A purchaser of our business — if we are involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy continuing to apply
Other users see only what you publish: your public profile, your published content, and messages you send them. Fans never see a creator's legal name, address, identity documents or payout details.
7. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies for three purposes:
- Strictly necessary — keeping you signed in, remembering your age confirmation, and protecting against fraud. These cannot be switched off.
- Functional — remembering preferences such as language and layout.
- Analytics — understanding aggregate usage so we can improve the service.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop parts of the site from working.
8. How Long We Keep Information
- Account and profile data — for as long as your account is open, then up to 12 months after closure to handle disputes
- Creator verification records — for at least seven (7) years after the last content was published, as required by 18 U.S.C. § 2257 and 28 C.F.R. Part 75
- Transaction and tax records — for seven (7) years, as required by tax and financial law
- Moderation, complaint and appeal records — for three (3) years from the decision
- Server and access logs — up to 12 months
Where we are required to keep a record, we keep it even if you ask us to delete your account.
9. Security
We protect your information with encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, salted password hashing, access controls that limit staff access to what their role requires, and private storage for identity documents that is never publicly addressable. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant regulator where the law requires it.
10. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you, and receive a copy
- Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
- Delete your information, subject to the retention obligations in Section 8
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Receive your information in a portable format
- Withdraw consent where we rely on it
- Opt out of marketing at any time, using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us
California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to delete it, to correct it, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
To exercise any right, email support@lazyfans.com. We respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity first. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
11. Children
This site is strictly for adults. It is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. Every visitor must confirm their age before entering, and anyone who indicates they are under 18 is redirected away from the site. If we learn that we hold information about a person under 18, we delete it immediately and terminate any associated account.
12. International Transfers
We are based in the United States and our service providers may be located elsewhere. Where we transfer personal information out of the UK or European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed. Where a change materially affects your rights, we will notify you by email or through the site before it takes effect.
